Dan Named Prize Winner in International Music Composition Competition

Dan was named a "Prize Winner" in the Advanced cateogry for the International Music Prizes for Excellence in Composition 2009, hosted by the National Academy of Music in Greece. From the Barrage Comes Clarity was the piece that delivered the goods! More info at the competition's website.

John Adler, who commissioned "From the Barrage Comes Clarity" from me, has recorded the work on his upcoming album Confronting Inertia, which Origin Classical Records is releasing on October 20th.
